The insureds suffered damage to the roof and the interior of their home during Hurricane Irma. The insureds reported it to their insurance company who sent an inspector to assess the home and prepared payment for the damages. The insurance company paid a minimal amount for the roof repair and no payment for the interior damages to the home. The insured asked us to analyze their claim.

Solution
Upon review we advised to file suit as the cosmetic damage payout was not applied correctly. We were able to get a just and fair payment for the replacement of the floors 2 years after the insurance company had underpaid.
